Now in its fourth year, the Newtown Good Food Fair will return to Newtown Square, and utilise the central hub of Eliza Street to create a street party for the community and visitors.

Date and time: Sunday 9 October starting 11am
Newtown Square 11am – 4pm (Newtown Food Stalls)
Eliza Street 11am – 6pm (Newtown Restaurants and Bars)The NPBA are expecting over 30 stallholders who will serve up the suburb’s best food and drink offering to thousands of visitors from all over Sydney.
In another new addition for 2016, organisers have added a talks program with two sessions to be held in the level 1 theatre at 5 Eliza St. Entry for each session is $10 and tickets can be purchased through the links below.
At 3.30pm Eat. Write. Earn. is a session for budding food writers and bloggers looking to . Our experts, Neha Kale, columnist at Broadsheet, Daily Life and editor of Vault, and Diane Jardine, publisher and writer of local produce magazine, Sprout, will be able to give you insight and take your questions.
Being able to run a sustainable business that contributes to the community is an important part of doing business in Newtown. At 1.30pm, Christopher from Black Star Pastry, Richard Adamson from Young Henry’s, Grant Hilliard from Feather & Bone, and Suji Jadhav from the Green Living Centre are speaking at Newtown Sustainability.
The NPBA represents Newtown business and hosts the annual event to promote the suburb as a food destination and to lift the profile of businesses in the area.
