A breakthrough in medical science has allowed a man with a completely severed spinal cord, to walk again.
Taking cells from the patient’s nose, the doctors transplanted them into the man’s back, and watched as his spinal cord regrew.
Four years ago, medical scientists discovered cells that continually regenerate & repair nasal nerves, and it’s the practical application of this research that has allowed the man, who had been paralysed from the chest down for years, to now walk and drive a car.
Truly wonderful news for the many people around the world suffering from paralysis!
